Teens Arrested For Attacking, Spitting On Toddler

WOODLAND (CBS13) ― Three teens have been arrested for attacking and spitting on a two-year- old boy and his mom at a Woodland park.

Police say two boys and a girl, all 14-years-old, attacked the little boy Monday night while he was playing at this playground.

When the boy's mother confronted the teens, she was then attacked.

Police say she was spit on, knocked to the ground, kicked several times and even bitten. 

"It's very upsetting," Woodland Police  Lt. Charles Wilt told CBS13, "that this would occur just from a basic human level that people would treat each other this way.  That someone would have such a lack of respect for another individual that they would spit on them."

The teenagers face charges including assault with a deadly weapon, child endangerment and battery.
