Deputies Identify Woman Found Dead In Her Home

EL DORADO HILLS (CBS13) ― The identity of the El Dorado Hills woman whose body was found Monday in her home, has been identified as Joanne M. Witt, 47.

Witt's 14-year-old daughter and her 19-year-old boyfriend are now considered suspects in her death, according to El Dorado County Sheriff's deputies. Deputies also say they should be considered armed and dangerous.

Deputies are searching for Tylar Witt and her boyfriend Steven "Boston" Colver. Tylar's mother's body was found yesterday in the bedroom of her Bella Lago home in El Dorado Hills after her employer reported her missing.

Deputies today said Tylar's mother died a violent death and they believe Tylar and Steven killed her.

"They are both (Tylar and Steven) wanted for murder and considered armed and dangerous," said El Dorado County Sgt. Jim Byers. "We believe they fled to the Bay Area. They've changed their appearance...He has cut his hair very short and dyed it jet black. And she has dyed her hair jet black."

The two were last seen in the San Francisco Bay Area and their car has already been recovered, according to deputies.

As for a motive for the murder, deputies say they have their suspicions, but will not talk publicly about them until they are further into their investigation.

Joanne Witt worked for the Department of Transportation.
