Tanker Crashes Near Colfax, Leaking Oil

COLFAX (CBS13) ― A tanker truck carrying hot oil used in road resurfacing has crashed on eastbound Interstate 80 near Colfax and is now leaking oil.

The crash happened just before 6:00am on eastbound Interstate 80 near Magra Road.  The tanker apparently left the roadway but did not overturn.  The right lane is closed as crews work to clear the accident.

Caltrans says that oil is leaking into a drain that goes into Rollins Lake.
