No ARC Students Recalled Over Prop. 8 Endorsement

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ― None of the members of the student association at American River College who were the focus of a recall vote will be forced to step down.

A recall vote was held today after the association voted to support Proposition 8, the measure that would ban same-sex marriage in California.

While some recall vote proponents say they were standing up for the rights of students, members of the association claim the recall violated their beliefs.
