Stimulus Money To Boost Food Stamps In Calif.
SACRAMENTO (AP) ―
Needy Californians are getting a boost from the federal stimulus package.
California state officials say food stamp benefits will increase by nearly 14 percent, bringing more than $800 million into the state.
The federal aid will also provide millions for California's anti-hunger programs.
