Kings To Be Subject Of Reality TV Show

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ― The Kings are about to have a number to care about besides a final score. Soon, they'll be hoping for high ratings from their new reality TV show called "Rebuilding the Kingdom."

The show already has a big name in entertainment attached to it: Mark Burnett, the creator of mega-hit shows like "Survivor." The cameras will follow the Sacramento Kings as they try to make it to the playoffs again, and the hard decisions that are made off the court.

There's a lot at stake for the team, which has seen a lot of empty seats in attendance so far this season. The show could build a new nationwide audience for the Kings, and rebuild local passion for the purple.

The Kings have not confirmed exactly when or on what station the show will be aired.
