Sacramento Drop In Home Values Worst In Nation

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ― Sacramento leads the nation in worst year to year drop in home values as the region is down 18 1/2%.

The three zip codes in the Natomas area are being hit the hardest.

Homes there typically sell for well over $250,000. But in the past year, some have seen a 50% depreciation.

The drop in home values is not just hurting home sellers, it's also hurting home builders by forcing them to slash prices in new developments.
