Woman Seriously Injured By Hit And Run Driver
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ―
Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a hit-and-run driver who left a female motorist seriously injured Saturday morning.
The victim, 21-year-old Anhelia Crisol, was struck by a vehicle around 3:15 a.m. while changing her car's tire on the shoulder of eastbound I-80 near Madison Avenue. Crisol was able to call for help and was transported to Mercy San Juan Hospital with major injuries, including a pelvis fracture, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities are hunting for the vehicle that reportedly struck Crison and took off, describing it as a late 90s model Buick Lasabre Custom. The vehicle should have damage along the passenger side.
