Man Arrested For Sac County Murder

SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13/AP) ― Sacramento County authorities have arrested a man for the murder of a man found dead behind a dumpster on Thursday.

Authorities say 34-year-old Manuel Alvarado-Guerrero was arrested Saturday in his apartment, located across the street from where the body of 28-year-old Rudolfo Enrique Nunez was found.

Nunez was found dead in the bushes behind a dumpster on the 7100 block of Walerga Road on Thursday afternoon, with "significant trauma" to his upper body and several stab wounds.

Investigators believe the two men knew each other and that a fight led to Nunez' death.

Alvarado-Guerrero has been booked into the Sacramento County Jail on murder charges, and will be arraigned on October 15.
