Sacramento Parks To Close Most Bathrooms
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ―
Starting next week, finding a bathroom to use at a Sacramento park will be a lot tougher. Budget cuts are forcing city leaders to close the restrooms at all Sacramento parks except for those at McKinley Park and William Land Park.
The city is also closing five city pools to recreational swimming and several community centers will only be open by reservation.
The city is also cutting several summer clubs and day camps. They will no longer operate the clubs and camps at American River Village Apartments, Burberry Park, Colonial Park, Didion School/Club House, Gardenland Park, Bertha Henschel Park, Marina Vista Housing Complex, North Laguna Creek Park, Parkway Oaks Park, Renfree Park, Southside Park, Taylor School and Tahoe Park.
