Arrest Made In Rancho Cordova Weekend Murder
RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. (CBS13) ―
Rancho Cordova police have arrested a suspect in a fatal shooting near a light-rail station in Rancho Cordova over the weekend.
Late Monday, police arrested 19-year-old Deandre Brooks. Police believe Brooks was the shooter who killed a man identified as Juan Carlos Sanchez on Saturday night. Police found the Sanchez behind a Ross store at Zinfandel Drive and Folsom Blvd.
Brooks has been booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on several charges including murder, carrying of loaded firearms, carrying a concealed weapon and receiving stolen property.
