Driver Runs After Hitting Power Pole
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ―
A Sacramento roadway is shutdown and power is out to some customers after a driver slammed into a power pole overnight and then ran away.
The accident happened just after midnight on Bell Avenue. The crash sheared the power pole in half and left power lines down across the roadway.
Crews shutdown the street and have shut off the power. Utility crews are now working to repair the pole and restore power.
Law enforcement officials are looking for the driver.
