A body of a young woman has been discovered on the grounds of a Placer County high school and deputies are treating it as a homicide.

Deputies say a woman out for a walk this morning came across the body of a young woman. The body was found near King Road At Boyington Road on the campus of Del Oro High School in Loomis.

Deputies say the body is that of an African-American woman in her 20's. They are treating the case as a homicide.
