Local Woman Charged With Pimping Juveniles

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ― A local woman is behind bars, accused of online sex crimes involving teenage girls. Deputies say she ran a prostitution ring on the popular website 'Craigslist', allegedly pimping girls for profit.

Felisha Mock, 22, has been arrested and is accused of being a pimp to teenage girls, one of them under the age of 16. Some of her neighbors in the 4700 block of 50th Avenue say they may have seen the girls.

"Some of them look like they were heavy into drugs," says Micah Brumfield, a neighbor.

Investigators tell CBS13 that Mock set up the ring using Craigslist. The teenagers would allegedly solicit sex to customers, and Mock would help customers broker a deal over the phone, nabbing a percentage of the sale for herself.

"I mean it's sad but it's not surprising," says Carol Olivas, a neighbor.

Some neighbors aren't surprised because they say drug addiction is a big problem in this neighborhood.

"And they need their drugs so they need to make money. They're not going to work because they can't pee in a cup," says Carol.

Mock is facing numerous counts of pimping and pandering and receiving an income from under aged prostitutes. However, her close friend believes Mock is innocent and was set up by another prostitute.
