Three Women Take Down Would-Be Oak Park Robber

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ― A would-be robber picked the wrong target when he walked into an Oak Park clothing store and began causing problems. He was quickly pounced on by female store employees and it was all caught on tape.

You could call it a smackdown inside 'Sactown' Fashions.  The melee began Tuesday afternoon when William Hill came into the store and throws what appears to be a cup of water in the face of 18-year-old store clerk Jessica Chan.  Her aunts then attempt to come to her rescue and are stopped by the suspect who tries to push them out of the shop. But they weren't going.  That's when the brawl heated up. Hill turned his attention back to Jessica.

"So once he put his hand on her, she started punching him in the face," Jessica's aunt told CBS13's Koula Gianulias, "He was big. I would say he weighed something like 200 pounds."

"When he put his hands on me I had to retaliate," Jessica explained, "He said he was going whoop my *&%$#."

All three women attempted to tackle Hill, knocking over display tables piled high with t-shirts.

"My first instinct was to put him in a headlock and pull him down." said Jessica's second aunt. Once down, one of the women sat on HIll and held his arms until police arrived.

The video shows it all including the police peeling the ladies off the suspect as he lay trapped on the ground.

Hill's booking photo clearly shows the beating he took at the hands of the three women.  Both of his eyes are nearly swollen shut.

42-year-old HIll faces robbery and battery charges.
