Faulty Furnace Blamed In North Highlands Fire
NORTH HIGHLANDS (CBS13) ―
A North Highlands apartment complex was evacuated as firefighters battled a 2-alarm blaze this morning.
The fire broke out just after 7:30 this morning at the complex on Omega Court in the Foothill Farms area.
Firefighters were able to get a handle on the fire quickly. They say it was started a faulty gas furnace and was contained to one apartment.
Residents were let back in about an hour after the fire began.
