Asst. Principal Arrested For Running Brothels
SAN JOSE (AP) ―
San Jose police have arrested the assistant principal of a San Francisco high school on charges associated with running a number of brothels.
Police say 57--year-old Galileo High School assistant principal Gerald Courtney and 41-year-old Hsiu Hwa Chou ran two brothels in San Jose and used the Internet to advertise.
Police investigated the pair for four months and say no minors were involved in the prostitution.
A spokeswoman for San Francisco Unified School District says Courtney is on administrative leave until the investigation is complete.
