Northbound I-5 Reopens After Grass Fire

NATOMAS (CBS13) ― A grass fire is burning out of control in Natomas, but the northbound lanes on Interstate 5 have reopened.

At least 10 acres have burned in the fast-moving blaze, and authorities had diverted northbound traffic on Interstate 5 onto Del Paso Boulevard. Authorities were concerned that they may have had to shut down the southbound lanes as well.

Sacramento fire crews are attempting to bring the blaze under control.
