Hit And Run Driver T-Bones Car With Family, Kids

MODESTO (CBS13) ― A three-year-old girl is fighting for her life after a hit and run crash in Modesto last night.

Police say a blue van carrying a family of five was T-Boned by a silver pickup at the intersection of Mitchell and Finch near the Modesto Airport.

It appeared that one of the vehicles ran a red light but which one is still under investigation. 

The three-year old was flown by helicopter to the U.C. Davis Medical Center.  Two adults and two other children were transported to area hospitals but have since been released.
 
Modesto police found the silver truck about a half mile down the road from the crash, but it was empty.
 
They then arrested four men who were found walking nearby.  The driver of the truck could face felony hit and run charges.
