Miniature Horse Attacked With Darts In Tracy

TRACY (CBS13) ― A miniature horse in Tracy is recovering after what's being described as animal cruelty at its worst.

Half a dozen throwing darts were stabbed into a 3-year-old miniature horse named "Sassy" two weeks ago.

Diane Talent says someone broke into her stable in the middle of the night and attacked the 40-inch horse.

Talent says she still can't believe someone would do such a cruel thing.



A local security agency has since volunteered to patrol Talent's property for free.

Talent says she's moved Sassy to another location and the sheriffs department is investigating
