Police Search For Alleged Midtown Prowler

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ― Police are searching for a man accused of prowling around Midtown Sacramento. They say he's stalked one woman three times in the last three weeks.

Authorities say the incidents took place on 26th Street between I and J Streets.

Two weeks ago, the woman called 9-1-1 after the suspect allegedly tried to break into the woman's home, say Sacramento Police.

Then a week ago, the same woman called 9-1-1 saying the same man was following her.

The latest incident happened two days ago. The woman says she heard footsteps outside her door. When she looked out the window to see who it was, she saw the suspect looking back at her.

The suspect is described as a 20-30-year-old black man between 150-170 pounds. He is also described as having stubble on his face.
