Leaking Fluids Investigated At 'Bodies Revealed'
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ―
The 'Bodies Revealed' exhibit in Sacramento is described as a unique experience to see the inner workings of the human body which feature actual human specimens, but it appears some of those specimens are leaking.
The Sacramento County Health Department sent an investigator to the exhibit after getting a call saying that some of the exhibits may be leaking. They discovered three of the displays had fluid leaking from them.
"When I got there, behind the scenes, what I did see around the toes was a very, very small amount of liquid accumulated there." Sacramento County Environmental Specialist Sophia Jella told CBS13.
The county says the liquid is not harmful. The management of 'Bodies Revealed' responded by saying they are "absolutely committed that the content of our exhibition is unquestionably safe and presents no possibility of harm to our visitors."
The exhibit runs through March in Sacramento. Sacramento County says they will continue to monitor the exhibit.
