Early Morning Train Accident Delays Commuters

LATHROP (CBS13) ― A troubled morning on the tracks in San Joaquin County this morning after a freight train hit a car and then blocked the track for all trains including passengers trains for several hours. 

The problem started when a freight train hit a vehicle on the tracks in Lathrop near McKinley at Lathrop Road.
 
The driver of the vehicle reportedly suffered minor injuries.
No one on the train was hurt and no damage was reported to the tracks.

But the long freight train blocked the ACE train for more than an hour.

ACE train one finally rolled through the accident scene just after five this morning on it's run from Stockton to the South Bay.
