Tape Released Of Lake Party Moments Before Brawl

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ― Last July, a fight broke out between two groups spending the day at Lake Natoma. During that fight, Satender Singh was killed.

21-year-old Aleksander Shevchenko is in custody on charges related to the death. Prosecutors claim it was a hate crime. They're saying Singh was targeted because he was gay.

Today, defense attorneys for Shevchenko released home video that was taken just minutes before the fight. They say it shows the fight was a result of a dispute between the two groups, but not the result of any "hate."
