Kevin Johnson Under Police Investigation

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ― Sacramento mayoral candidate Kevin Johnson is being investigated by the Sacramento Police Department after making an after-hours visit to City Hall.

Johnson was caught on camera wandering through the office areas of the Mayor and city councilmembers on Saturday. City officials say he was let in by a private security guard, who appears to have violated security rules.

"We are reviewing all of our policies and procedures related to City Hall security to make sure that we're clear about what we want in terms of after hours security," said Reina Schwartz of Sacramento City General Services

Johnson's campaign spokesman says the guard offered Johnson a tour after the guard saw the candidate outside City Hall.
