Authorities Search For Local 'Grocery List Bandit'

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ― A serial bank robber is on the loose in the Sacramento and is being dubbed as the "Grocery List" bandit. He is said to be responsible for allegedly robbing three banks and attempting to rob another during the period of March 17th to May 6th.

The unidentified man has been dubbed the 'Grocery List' bandit by law enforcement officials as all of the victim banks have been located inside local grocery store chains.

The suspect is being described as a black male with a light complexion, is in his early 20's and is approximately 6' tall with a slim build.

The following the incidents are believed to be the work of the 'Grocery List Bandit':

March 17, 2008: the Bank of America located inside the Save-Mart grocery store, 2501 Fair Oaks Boulevard, Sacramento, California;

April 18, 2008: the Wells Fargo Bank located inside the Raley's Supermarket, 3518 Marconi Avenue, Sacramento, California. Bank surveillance photos show the same individual in the bank the day before the robbery;

May 6, 2008: an attempted robbery at the U.S. Bank located inside the Save-Mart grocery store, 2735 Marconi Avenue, Sacramento, California; and

May 6, 2008: the Wells Fargo Bank located inside the Raley's Supermarket, 7847 Lichen Drive, Sacramento, California.
The unidentified man was said to have used a note in each of the robberies and no weapons were used.
