A large grass fire has been extinguished on Latrobe Road south of Highway 50 after burning over a hundred acres.

Authorities say that one small business park had to be evacuated due to the blaze.

Firefighters defeated the fire Tuesday afternoon with at least 15 engines, three water tankers, and one helicopter responding to the fire. At least 75 firefighters fought the fire on the ground.

This fire was located in the Blackstone Community, and was handled by the Cal Fire Department as well as the El Dorado County Fire Department.
