EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. (CBS13) ― Caltrans is scrambling to remove a 400-ton slab of granite teetering over highway 50 in El Dorado County, and some lane closures are being reported.

The slab is located about six miles east of Pollock Pines near Bridal Veil Falls, and is affecting the eastbound lanes.
