Teen Attacked While Walking In Gold River
SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) ―
Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a man suspected of attacking a teenager as she walked on a recreation trail in Gold River.
Deputies say the 15-year-old girl was walking with a friend on the Gold River Recreation Trail on July 17th when she was attacked. The suspect came up behind the victim, grabbed her and committed a sexual battery against her. He then ran away.
The suspect is described as a white man in his mid-40's, approximately 5'7" tall with a thin build and a pale complexion. He had short white hair and possible facial stubble. He was wearing an unknown color baseball cap, a red short-sleeve athletic shirt, dark shorts, white socks and white running shoes.
