Police have arrested one of their own for allegedly stealing restaurant grease.

Sergeant John Landahl, a 22-year veteran of the Folsom Police Department, is accused of stealing cooking from restaurants, which can be turned into "biodiesel" and used in cars. The theft was reported by a rendering company hired to collect the grease.

Landahl has been placed on administrative leave and has been released on his own recognizance.
