Man Finds Dead Motorcyclist On Citrus Heights Road

CITRUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) ― A man walking on a Citrus Heights road early this morning stumbled across the body of a motorcyclist and his crashed bike.

Citrus Heights police say the body of the male motorcycle rider was discovered on Baird Avenue east of Auburn Boulevard just after 2:00 this morning.

Emergency crews called to the scene say the man died from what appear to be 'collision related injuries'.

The man's identity is not known yet.

Citrus Heights police say it appears that alcohol may have played a part.
