Mayor Fargo Files For Race, Facing 8 Challengers

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ― Sacramento Mayor Heather Fargo officially filed her paperwork today, declaring that she is running for another term as mayor. If she wins, it would be her third term.

"Campaigns are always good for the city," said Fargo. "I'm looking forward to the debates and discussions."

There could be as many as eight other candidates running against her this year, including former NBA All-Star Kevin Johnson. CBS13 correspondent R.E. Graswich has reported that Johnson will file his papers by Wednesday.
