Brush Fire Extinguished In Elk Grove

ELK GROVE (CBS13) ― A fast-moving brush fire burned about 3 acres near of Laguna Station Road and Sims Road in Elk Grove, but fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze before any structures were damaged.

The fire started at around 3:30 p.m., according to the Elk Grove Fire Department. High winds have raised concerns over the potential damage the fire could do, and at least seven fire stations were involved in putting out the blaze.
