Driving Lesson Ends With Crash Into Home

NORTH HIGHLANDS (CBS13) ― A local driving lesson ended badly after a mix-up between the gas and accelerator sent a student driver's vehicle into the side of her own home.

A North Highlands woman says she was returning home in her SUV last night from a driving lesson from her son when the accident happened. The two were pulling up to her house on Georgia Drive when the woman says she hit the gas instead of the brakes, sending her into the side of the home.
 
Neither the woman or her son were hurt. Fortunately nobody was inside the home at the time of the crash.
