The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department is looking for public help in locating an at-risk missing elderly woman.

Doris Hardin, 80, was last seen at driving away from her home on the 9400 block of Colwin Way in Elk Grove at 10 a.m. Wednesday. She lives at the residence with her daughter.

Family members say Hardin is a diabetic, and they do not think she has taken her medication.

Hardin is described as 5'5" tall, black, weighing 170 pounds. She wears a black wig and has brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a teal dress with embroidery around the neck. The vehicle she was driving is a gray 1997 Dodge Intrepid with a damaged driver-side door. It has a California license plate with the number 3UAR090.
