City: 'Bring Your Own Bag' To Dog Parks

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ― Budget cuts are forcing the City of Sacramento to 'eliminate' a free perk at city dog parks telling pet owners to B.Y.O.B.

The city will no longer provide free plastic bags for those times when your dog has to 'go'.  

Instead, the city will provide storage containers where anyone can donate extra plastic bags so owners can pick-up after their pets.

Some dog lovers say the idea to get rid of the free bags stinks.

Others say they'd be happy to bring their own bags, if the city would use the money saved to open up more dog parks.
