Dixon Chicken Farm Targeted By Armed Thieves

Some serious foul play is going on at a Dixon chicken farm where thieves are stealing or killing hundreds of chickens and its costing the farmer thousands of dollars.

The Eatwell Farm in Dixon has been hit about 5 times since October costing the owner around $20,000.

A worker at the farm has seen two men kicking and hitting several chickens before stuffing them into the back of a truck and taking off. Last month, the trespassers returned with guns, stealing more chickens and leaving 26 dead before getting away.

Police have taken reports and are investigating several leads, But for now, workers at the farm are keeping a closer eye on their flock and locking them up at night.

A $1,000 reward is being offered in the case.
