Motorcyclist Sexually Assaulting Women In Davis
DAVIS, Calif. (CBS13) ―
Authorities are hunting for an alleged predator who has been sexually assaulting girls and women on bikes and then speeding off before victims can get a look at him.
The Davis Police Department says that a motorcyclist is sneaking up on women riding bicycles in downtown Davis and grabbing them in inappropriate places without slowing down. By the time the victim reacts, the suspect speeds away.
Police are aware of eight victims who were attacked on 8th Street within the last few days -- one of the victims was only 11 years old.
"We would imagine there's more [victims] out there," said Sgt. Rod Rifredi of the Davis Police Department.
The description of the suspect has been consistent, if vague. The man is described as wearing a black leather jacket and a motorcycle helmet that prevents victims from getting a look at him.
