Carmichael Elementary School On Lockdown

CARMICHAEL (CBS13) ― A Carmichael elementary school is on lockdown this afternoon as Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies search for a suspect with outstanding warrants on the loose in the area.

Coyle Elementary School in Carmichael is on lockdown as a precaution as deputies search the Coyle Drive area.

Deputies say they went to arrest the man this afternoon but when they knocked on his door, he ran.  Deputies do not believe the suspect is armed.
