Chase Ends In Crash In Citrus Heights
CITRUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) ―
A high speed chase through the streets of Citrus Heights Tuesday morning ended in a crash.
The chase started near Greenback Ln. and Sylvan Rd., and ended when the suspect crashed into some bushes near San Juan Blvd. and Fair Oaks Blvd.
Police say they tried to pull the driver over for driving without headlights but, he took off in the car.
The chase hit speeds of 90 miles an hour.
It is unknown why suspect fled from police, but he reportedly ran several red lights in the process.
Police say the suspect wasn't hurt when he crashed his car.
