Battle Over New Adult Store In Citrus Heights

  A couple being barred from opening an adult-themed store in Citrus Heights says their constitutional right to free expression is being violated.

    The couple that owns the store are now filing a lawsuit in federal court against the city.

    The couple owns a store just outside Citrus Heights. Now they want to open one at an empty location on Greenback Lane near Interstate-80.
 
The lawsuit was filed wednesday, but has not been served to Citrus Heights city officials yet.
