One Injured In Foothill Farms Shooting

FOOTHILL FARMS (CBS13) ― At least one person has been injured in a shooting at a duplex near a convenience store in Foothill Farms, and the suspects are still at large, according to authorities.

The shooting took place just before 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Manzanita Avenue and Hilltop Drive. The victim was shot multiple times at a duplex across the street from a Circle K store, and multiple suspects fled the scene in a vehicle, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department confirmed.

Authorities have not confirmed the description of the suspects' vehicle.

The victim has been transported to a local hospital. The severity of his injuries is unknown, and the shooting is under investigation.
