The same two men allegedly hit two check cashing businesses in Modesto.

Check cashing businesses are being targeted in Modesto. Thieves have hit two of them, and cops want to find them before they strike again.
Modesto Police want to end a robbing duo's easy payday. Dressed in black, the armed robbers appear on security footage, robbing the businesses.
You can see one man's face clearly; the other is hiding behind a ski mask.
"We're going to get the word out that it's not going to be easy to commit next act of violence," said Sgt. Brian Findlen of the Modesto Police Department.
Investigators say the pair robbed a teller at Advance America about a week and a half ago. Just two days ago, the same guys hit up Fast Auto and Payday Loans. Minutes after the second robbery, police say the two men headed to another check cashing place trying to steal more money, but security measures foiled their attempt.
"They had recognized one of the male individuals from a robbery that had occurred at one of their other Advance America branches," said Sgt. Findlen.
The robbers ran off before police arrived.
"If we can't get in between the next robbery that's committed, we want those specific businesses to know they can take specific precautions to prevent becoming the victims," said Sgt. Findlen.
Police are telling some check cashing businesses to lock their doors and say businesses can escort customers from the door.
The two suspects face serious charges, say police.
