Speed Plus A Boulder Lead To Crash In Carmichael

  An unusual accident in Carmichael involving a boulder sent a man to the hospital Thursday morning.

Police say a man was speeding along Fair Oaks Boulevard near Top Court when he veered off the road into a landscaping boulder.  The impact caused the car to rollover.  The car landed upside on top of another large boulder smashing through the roof of the car on the passengers side narrowly missing the driver. 

Police say the driver was not drinking and that his injuries are minor to moderate.
