Most Californians Believe State Is In Recession

SACRAMENTO (AP) ― Three-quarters of Californians believe gloomy economic times will last through the remainder of the year.

A survey of about 2,000 adults by the Public Policy Institute of California shows the malaise.

Just less than three-quarters believed the state has already fallen into a recession.

The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 2 percentage points.
