Bras For A Cause: Sacramento Store Recycles Bras
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ―
We recycle everything from cans to newspapers to plastic. Now you can add lingerie to the list.
A Sacramento lingerie store is collecting bras for a cause. At Last Bras and Lingerie is taking donated used bras in good condition to give to women in transitional housing.
Many of the women left their homes with next to nothing and this program will help them replace some of the most expensive things in their wardrobes.
The store is hoping to get a thousand bras by the time the project is wrapped up. Right now, they've collected about one hundred.
"At Last" is in the Town and Country Shopping Center at Marconi & Fulton, in Sacramento.
