Firefighters Find Body In Sacramento House Fire

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ― Sacramento City firefighters discovered a body inside a Sacramento home where a fire broke out today -- a fire they say was deliberately set.

The blaze broke out at around 10:30 a.m. on Little River Way east of Pocket Road. While battling the blaze, firefighters say they discovered the body.

Investigators say they don't know whether or not the person was killed by the fire, but they say the fire appears to have been deliberately set. They also say the body also showed signs of self-inflicted injury.

The name of the victim has not been released.
