Kids Found, Dad At Large After NorCal Amber Alert
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ―
An Amber Alert for two young children allegedly abducted by their father has been canceled after the kids were found safe this afternoon, says the CHP.
The children, Eduardo Orellana, 7, and Julisa Orellana, 3, were found safe this afternoon in the Bay Area town of Hayward, according to KPIX-TV in San Francisco. Their father, Jose Barraza Orellana, 36, is still on the loose.
The kids abducted last night at 11:30 p.m. from the San Joaquin Valley town of Lemoore. During the incident the child's mother was stabbed. She is hospitalized in critical condition.
Orellana is described as an hispanic male, 5'9", 190 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He is considered armed and dangerous.
