Wheelchair Stolen From Roseville Leukemia Patient

ROSEVILLE (CBS/AP) ― A Roseville woman suffereing from leukemia and other serious health conditions has another problem to deal with after a theif took her new wheelchair.

Roseville police say the wheelchair was taken sometime between last Friday and yesterday.  The wheelchair had recently been given to the 51-year-old woman and was in the back of a pickup truck in an apartment complex parking lot.

The woman is not able to leave her home without her wheelchair.  The wheelchair was recently given to the woman and is described as a a like-new brown leather 18" Ernest and Jennings chair with leg lifts.   The woman does have a much older wheelchair, but it is difficult for her to use.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Roseville police.
