There were developments Monday in a Sacramento drunk driving case that left 4-people dead. Roberto Vellanoweth will be in court Tuesday to be arraigned on four counts of vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
Investigators say 63-year-old Vellanoweth was drunk when he crashed his Jeep Cherokee into an older model Chrysler on South Land Park Drive in Sacramento. The crash killed three adults and one toddler. One person in that car survived the crash, as did Vellanoweth.
He faces a maximum of 17 years if convicted.
